Android, hdr, lightroom cc vs other solutions

I am getting a new phone, so far the Xiaomi Mi8 and Huawei Mate 9 look pretty good around 400 euro. I think they will both work taking raw images and using Lightroom CC as a camera you can take two DNG files and make a fairly good hdr image from them. It costs 5 euro a month which is not ideal though not too expensive either.

Really I am just wondering if anyone is doing anything like this with their phone, if they get good results and if there is anything similar and free all in phone. For the last year or two I have just been importing my photos into Google photos and doing very basic editing in it as I have lost the will for anything that requires more effort after laptops dying etc.

Good photos take 1/200th of a second to take and 20 mins in LR/PS afterwards to finish up. If you aren't bothered then just shoot and post, there's no skipping the effort or nobody would do it.

You can use Lightroom for free on Android, I've used it for years. It's great for slight touch ups on my phone snapshots. I have a Oneplus 5T, which does shoot raw also. But honestly, I just can't see it be worth spending 5 quid a month on.

Snapseed is also very good for editing on the go, and it supports raw also.
