181 demo - two owners?

Hi, quick question: saw a 181 demo for sale and the ad says that it has had two owners. A check on motortax.ie says that it was bought by a dealer in late May 2018. However the tax disc on the car itself is expired from end of March 2018.

Would there be any issue with this? Many thanks in advance.

Who is selling it now and where did you get the two owner figure from? Being status "bought by a dealer" shouldn't ad any owners to the logbook.

Generally buying a 181 demo from a dealer I'd expect to be owner number 2, the dealer being owner number 1 on the logbook. If they have told you it already has 2x owners and you will be the third, that's unusual.

What mileage is on the car?

What mileage is on the car?

Being sold by a main dealer. The two owners is stated on the advert on carsireland site. There are just over 6500 km on it.

Don't go by what an advert says, verify with the dealer or by a vehicle history check.

Put the reg into motortax.ie and see if there was a change of ownership in the last 3 months.

It comes back as purchased by a dealer 24/5/18. Notified 1/6/18. No Vehicle Registration Certificate issued in the last: 3months

Why would there be a tax disk with 03/18 in the window?

I'm going to check with the dealer but I thought some savvy people here might know.
