Hi looking for a bit of advice please.
I've a mira vigour about 4 years old and has started getting very loud, would the carbon brushes cause this and who would I contact to get it repaired. I'm in laois.

Definitely not the brushes. Motor goes quieter as the brushes wear away. Louder motor is the bearings.

I would suggest a replacement shower rather than repair as a new motor will be over 200 supplied & fitted. Mira replacement parts are expensive. Triton motor made in the same factory as the mira and the triton motor is 150 supplied & fitted.

Would triton power shower be better?

Quality wise it's on a par with the mira. Mira has 12 months warranty and triton has 24 months. Triton is cheaper to repair
