    Hi

We have a bit of land in Wicklow and thinking of building there. Just wondering what are the chances of planning when it's on a hill above the main road below and there wouldn't really be a way to plant a hedge to block view

    Any feedback would be great
    Thanks

    Not enough info to comment.
what are you looking to build
    Is it rural
    Are there similar developments nearby
If it's housing and rural, do you satisfy the housing needs requirement

Looking to build a 3 bed bungalow. There is 2 old cottages right beside the site with private entrance which my family owns.

Yes it's rural 15 mins From glendalough.
What do you mean housing needs requirement?

I don't know about that area but typically for rural housing, it is only allowable for people from the area building near or on original family lands who also have a specific need to live there such as farming, or working locally or returning to look after parents etc.
