    From Facebook...Community Radio project for Bere Island in West Cork



    Keep next Friday August 24th free.
    Bere Island heritage centre at 2:30pm.

    As part of heritage week we will introduce our new community radio project. Our partners from UCC will be down to meet everyone. We are looking for volunteers who are interested in helping us set up a community radio for the Island. There will be something for everyone including current affairs, Island heritage & news, music, interviews and anything else you can think of. You are welcome to call over and take part in this new adventure for Bere Island. We are organising some training for Friday the 31st of August and Saturday September 1st for anyone interested in learning about community radio. The more people involved the better it will be.
