Red cow park & ride

Hi, I'm heading up for the all Ireland tomorrow and will probably park at the red cow park and ride and get luas into city. Worrying if there will be spaces by the time I get to red cow. I see you can book your parking online. But does this guarantee you a space. How does it work?
