    hey everyone looking for a car at the moment my budget is 3000 Max, has to be 08 and up for cheap tax and diesel. preferably with low mileage also. I've been looking at mondeos, focus, mazda6 at the moment. might consider a van either as I might be starting an apprenticeship soon. any advice or recommendations? thanks in advance

    Laguna is probably your best bet as you can easily get a good one for €3k

    Forget Focus and Mazda6.

    Cheap tax mk1 octavia 1.9tdi 100bhp or superb 115bhp 1.9tdi
    Simple reliable and most importantly easily doable within budget.
