AA member fuel saving

There is 4c off per litre at Topaz or Circle K Re.Store, for AA members.

Unfortunately today the discount bar code didn't work "connection time out error". So I didn't get the discount on 65 euros worth of fuel. Has anyone come across if it's possible to get their missed discount later? I have the receipt.

At any Circle K outlet? Do you need to have your membership card with you to show?

Not at all of them. Only which says Re.Store outside. And you don't need to show membership card. If you download AA app, your virtual card will be actually on the phone together with the discount code

I've used it on topaz/ circle k garages.
None of them were restore
No need for membership card

Hi - can you get the fuel discount with just the AA membership card or do you need to have the app regardless of the membership card? I am a recent member but cant get the app to work despite contact with AA - still trying to get it sorted. Anyone else having problems with the app?

I have AA membership, and no card.

I use AA app to get reward of 4c per lit without any issue.
You need to have special member ID and wait few days until your account is activated. If you got AA membership today, add in another 7 days.

Thanks for the reply - I have membership 2 weeks now and still cant use the app. The AA keep saying the app is "down" but it can't be down that long surely! Hopefully they will get it sorted for me soon as it kills me to be paying full price per litre when I don't need to be!

Hmm. I used the app 3 days ago and it worked fine.

Try installing it on other phone just to rule out issue is not with your phone.

+1. The fuel saving feature in the app is working fine for me today.

Just used my app, no issues whatsoever.

AA member and have the fuel card a year or so.

Very handy, like using it on the newer pumps some of the Topaz/Circle K have on there forecourts.

Quite and easy to fill up too.

Hi thanks for the replies to my earlier query. I finally got to register on the AA app - nearly a month after paying for my membership - and after many litres of petrol paid for at full price.:mad:

I am looking forward to using the fuel savings but I have to say my experience with AA in terms of getting the issue sorted has been quite poor. I last raised the issue by email on 03/12/18 and was told by an autoreply that the aim was to respond within 48 hours - I haven't heard anything from them since then!
