Any stats on how much Irish spend online or a percentage?

    UK figures:
The Office for National Statistics said a 18.2% of sales were done online in July 2018 as websites continued to google up a bigger slice of the market.

In the eighties mail order accounted for over 8% of UK fashion/footwear spend whereas in ireland the figure was miniscule, so ina way the UK had a substantial headstart as buying remotely was already ingrained in the population.

For 2018 the estimate for online spend in Ireland as a percentage of retail sales is between 11%&12% with a value of about €4bn
