Long legged teenager

I will need to change the car soon and i've got a teenage daughter who is nearly 6 foot tall with long legs. She needs to be able to stretch them out in the back.

Currently have an 05 Focus and she finds that cramped in the back.

I don't need a huge car as its only the 4 of us, something cheap to run and reliable, budget of about 8k. Back seat leg room is the key factor.

    Any good suggestions?

Skoda Superb is probably you’re best bet! Huge space in the back.

Skoda Superb has very good legroom, probably the best in class.
Unless you buy an MPV and take out one of the middle seats, let her stretch the legs out straight!

Edit, Retracer beat me to it!

Whats the new Mondeo's like in the back. I know the old one's had lots of room.
As others have said, Superb is probably the best car for rear leg room.

I've never been in a car that had more space in the back then the Nissan Note. One of the versions allows you to pull the seats even further towards the boot and leaves you with 2+ feet between the front edge of the back seat and the back of the front seats. I'm 6 foot 1 and can stretch my legs out straight in the back of a note, which is strange because the car itself isn't huge, I think they take the space from the boot.

I have a note and grand picasso and picasso is having hard time to challenge Note in that aspect when seat as at the rearest position :D

OP, I would go for Suberb

Honda Jazz is great for rear legroom too, really amazing actually for such a small car. I’ve a Superb and yes they have big legroom but are a big car and maybe not the ideal fit for op as your looking at a big diesel etc too

I have the current model Mondeo, legroom in the back is better than most but the Superb would be better again.

Seat Altea has plenty of room. I'm in the same boat as yourself and cant recommend them highly enough.

I second the Note. The car is deceptively spacious. Great value car for what you get!

Superb is big check out https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/234205-rear-legroom-is-it-much-more-than-an-octavia/

But I wouldn't rule out the Octavia either. Maybe try one out.
