I stopped getting the depo injection in March my period has not returned do I have to wait until my period returns before I go on another format of contraception. I've started seeing someone and don't trust condoms on their own

I stopped getting the depo injection in March my period has not returned do I have to wait until my period returns before I go on another format of contraception. I've started seeing someone and don't trust condoms on their own
