Hi. Had a field closed 2 weeks to cut extra silage. Cows managed get in there for 24hrs so there's some fresh dung on some of it.
Question is, will the ding be washed in over course of 6 more weeks? Iv pulled a gate on it to level it out as good as can but as there's a good mat of grass on it so its hard to spread.

Anyone any experience of same scenario. It will be baled for silage.

Beetles/crows/worms will have it reduced down in a month.

Rain tomorrow night will wash it down a fair bit. Had a neighbours 100 cows in 2 years ago, a few hours. Cut it 2 weeks later and was fine. A bit of rain washing has a remarkable effect.
