Halfords 5 Piece Lifting Kit - €54

    Hi All,


    Halfords have a pretty decent looking motor lifting kit - a few stors seem to have stock in Ireland



    €54 (was €138)

    Includes:
    • 2 Tonne Trolley Jack with Short Wheel Base has a lifting range of 14cm to 34cm. Made with a durable welded construction
    • 2 x 2 Tonne Axle Stands have a combined weight capacity of 2 Tonne
    • Padded Car Creeper allows for comfort whilst carrying out under car maintenance
    • Wheel Wrench with 17/19mm socket allows for a wheel change
    • 2 x Wheel Chocks allow the vehicle to secured in place
    Broke right now so it will have to wait for me, I'm sorry to say!!!

    The reviews of it on the Halfords website wouldn't give you much confidence.

    At €138 I wouldn't buy it, but at €54 I would. I reserved one online.

    Have had that exact kit for years.
    No complaints. Jack still works,bit stuff but that's from me leaving it outside the odd time!

    Because its only 54 quid, your not gonna expect garage quality gear for that price. If your planning to do heavy work under your car then buy something else, otherwise its well worth it for a little bit of home DIY on your car.

    Don't work with engines/cars/mechanical/heavy stuff, have absolutely no need to have that, but I'm seriously thinking of buying it..
