A bit of a long shot and hopefully this is a suitable place to post this, but I’m hoping to hire a car for my wedding in October in Kilkenny. I would like something a bit different like an E21 BMW, or more broadly a late 70’s / early 80s Merc or BMW, I just love those cars. I came across one place that offers self-drive from Dublin, but as the wedding is in KK, I’d need it for 3+ days. At over €200 a day I can’t justify this expense.
On the off-chance anyone has something similar in the Kilkenny area I’d be happy to take it off your hands for a day for the going rate. Thanks.

It's more usual to hire a chauffeur and vintage car.
Believe me you'll be so busy on the day (presuming its your wedding) that you won't have much time to enjoy the experience of driving.

You could well be right. I guess the type of car I’m looking for isn’t used by vintage chauffeurs. Perhaps I’m not being realistic.

You might be better off signing up to a classic car owner's forum and asking there as it might be something that members do regularly or they know of somebody who does it. There is also a classic car sub forum here on boards.
