VRT Calculation - is there a correct calculator online?

Just noticed that VRT calculators online seem to be off on certain cars - for example, they don't know there's such a thing as a 3.0L 325i.

The revenue one simply doesn't list the car when you scroll through the dropdowns; I tried the pay one (2€ a pop) on VRT.IE and while it does the calculation by entering the reg of the car, it wrongly identifies it as an e46 (it's an E92), and more importantly quotes the CO2 emissions at 217, while the actual value is 168...does the Revenue office actually calculate VRT on this incorrect data?

The revenue will look at the specs of your import including the correct emissions figure, and arrive at the car's current open market selling price and calculate your VRT from that.

I'd say very few of them were imported here and Revenue proon their database every now and then by deleting old stat codes that are not used in ages.

If it’s not listed on official revenue calculator then none of the others with Reg lookup will match exact car.... only way is to get in touch with revenue direct
