I'm looking to upgrade from a denon avr1312 which I bought from RS  a good few years ago to a Denon avrx2400h.

I'd like to keep the 5.1 speakers I have and purchase a pair of surround back wallmount speakers of a similar size that came with the avr1312. Could you recommend a pair of speakers that would suit?

    Hi Praetorian,

The AVRX2400 is a great upgrade!

If you are looking for a good set of rear speakers I would recommend the Monitor Audio Bronze FX which are dedicated rears. These retail at £279 but I could do a pair at £250.

Let me know what you think.

    Kind regards

    David

    David, thanks for the reply,

They look great, but  are a bit above what I was hoping to spend.

Could you recommend anything around the £100 mark? Something that would match the quality of what came with the avr1312 I think would make more sense for now, until I replace all the speakers in the future.

    Hi Praetorian,

If you're looking for a good pair of speakers around the £100 mark I would go for the Cambridge SX50s for £99. They're cracking speakers for the money.

Let me know what you think.

    Kind regards
