1.6 tdci problems!

    Hi all

I have one of those ****e 1.6 tdci Focus' at the moment in a 2009 Focus.

It had a clogged dpf so the dpf was changed, but after change it was down on power and there was a lot of black soot escaping from around centre of turbo.

The turbo was replaced despite the original turbines seemingly being okay.

Now it is still down on power, but no soot or smoke. There is a hissing/metallic noise as can be heard from the video. I also have noticed drips of water coming from under the car at the passenger side, possibly coolant from intercooler? Coolant does not seem to have dropped. I've checked all pipes and they seem okay.

I have scanned the ecu and the one code that is present is the P0299 - 61 meaning that the turbo is underboosted.

    Any ideas ?

    Boost pipe?

EDIT: Does the hissing get worse when revving? Can you hear it from inside the car?

The water is likely from your aircon? does it work and have you been using it?

Like said above hissing would suggest a boost pipe or connection split
Are you sure its down on power,i know stupid question but sometimes when you get work done you expect miracles
When was all this work done?
