    Hi,

My Ford Focus 2006 mk2 intermittently wont start, could start the second time of asking or like today could take 20 mins to start. The car doesn’t even turn over just a kind of thud and stop.
Issue started (😆) about a month ago.
Scanned the car each time it wouldn’t start for faults and only got one fault on one occasion.
This was a p0335 fault which relates to the crankshaft sensor. However I can’t locate it!
Would anoyone know the location of it? It’s a 1.6l Zetec petrol.

Or is it as simple as the starter is fooked?

    Thanks

If it's not turning over, you should check the battery, starter motor and engine earths first. Eliminate the obvious so to speak.

Issues prior to replacement? If so would have alternator checked see if it's charging correctly. Secondly would make sure the battery is able to handle the load.
