First off the pull cord switch isn't designed to switch that load so you need to stop using the cord in such a way assuming you have an electric shower

Can you post the full make & model of the shower? ie Triton T90si Triton AS2000XT

you have to pull the cord to start the shower, and I have to pull it now to stop the shower, otherwise the motor would keep running, if you know what i mean

I'm just telling you that you are NOT supposed to use the pull cord while the shower is running as it's not designed for this. You should stop using the shower till you get the problem fixed

It's either the PCB board https://dublinshowerrepair.com/showerparts/product/triton-as2000-aspirante-speed-control-pcb-ips-7073738/

Or The on off switch. You have to buy the cover to get this part as it's not sold separately https://dublinshowerrepair.com/showerparts/product/triton-as2000xt-cover-with-flow-knob-on-off-switch/
