company holding onto my p45

    Hi I started a new job Monday the 13th of Aug, left my old job on the 9th of aug, accounts were looking for the p45 so I rang my last employer they said I'd get it at the end of the month,so what type of emergency tax will I pay each week ?

    You can contact your local Revenue office and transfer your tax credits and cut off point to your new employer, or you can do it online in the "jobs and pension" section of your PAYE online account. This will transfer your tax credits and SRCOP on a week one basis until your P45 is issued.

    Hi I was onto revenue today they said that they can't do the week one thing ??? Any help is greatly cause money fair tight

    Ask the payroll person in the new job to apply standard allowances.

    If they know their system, they'll be able to do it.

    I don't want to go asking too much iykwim at the moment off them it's a good factory that I've tried to get into for years don't wanna feck it up annoying ppl

    Update ... I rang rev again this morning talking to someone else they put me on week one basis with no problem.. thanks to all for your help really appreciated lab man
