    Hi,
I am interested in undertaking the Green Cert. I do not have access to a farm myself but my plan is to rent land. Is this doable? I am interested in land in Sligo area. What kind of costs am I expecting to pay per year per acre and what do I need to put in place for the department to meet criteria to finish Green Cert.
    Thanks,
    E

If you are doing the distance learning course once you have agreement from a farmer to use all his/her details (this includes access to financial records and accounts) then you are ok. I'm not sure on the full time course. A phone call to your local teagasc office and a chat with the regional education officer is the best thing you could do TBH as they will know exactly what you do and don't need.

Poor Farmer, Thanks a million for your reply. I will have to investigate this.
