What are your thoughts on this film? The show is mainly aimed for families with kids because both versions of the show are shown on Cartoon Network. Both versions are shown here sometimes during the TRTÉ slot on RTÉ2.

It might not be everyone's cup of tea but I will give my first review here. Be aware as there are spoilers included.

The movie itself was very good & enjoyable. The songs from it including the Upbeat one from Michael Bolton was great.
The 1st post credit scene looked so damn good because if that scenes eventually becomes a brand new series for the original show; it will be brilliant to see it happen in reality on our TV screens. The 2nd credit scene which included the superheroes in the purple costumes was a good laugh swirling around just near the end of the credits.

The animation looked terrific throughout the whole movie. I watched it in the IMC in Dun Laoghaire last week. The colours from the night scenes in Jump City & Gotham looked eye popping & beautiful. However
there is one slight problem with one of the scenes that originally came from the trailers. The scene where the Teen Titans are being chased in the golf cart by Batman in the WB studio lot. That was missing Batman's words at my screening when he mentions his titles from some of his movies while going through the explosions like "Batman" "Batman Returns" "Batman Begins" "Batman Forever".
I was gearing up with a laugh with my mother while watching it beforehand but it never materialized. I thought that was a little disappointing.

My overall rating for the film is a decent 4.5/5.

Thinking about watching it. Haven't read your spoilers.

There's some discussion about it on the animated universe thread starting here:

Yeah, I'm looking forward to checking this out this weekend. The series cracks me up. I'm a big fan of the DC Animated Universe: I have some original drawings from Bruce Timm and a cel from Batman:TAS.
Don't think it's a spoiler as it's in the trailers etc. But the casting
of Nicholas Cage as Superman was just... just inspired.
From what I have seen of the trailers, the whole fourth-wall breaking is even funnier than Deadpool.

And the Upbeat song is up online.... I think I wee'd a little at the end. Hahahaha

Here to view if you want but maybe OP can tell us if spoiler

Edit: Apparently the casting was a spoiler. Apologies.

Aw man, would you spoiler that Superman gag? I would have gotten a huge laugh out of that.
