Can anyone recommend a dental practice (preferably in Munster) that does Braces for children for an affordable price? I think normally they ask between €3,000–€5,000. I cannot even imagine affording that kind of price. Has anyone managed to get it done in Ireland for around €1,000?

    Thanks.

Thanks for the tip. They are the lowest around alright. Around 2,500 for both arches, metal braces.

Farming this out to the lowest bidder may not be the best move. I have found there is a lot of variability in the results, and the orthodontists that get the consistently good results tend to charge the going rate as opposed to a bargain rate. Its a lot of money but over the 2 or 3 years its not that much a month. and getting it done locally will save a fortune on time off work and transport when you have to go 15-20 times for adjustments.
