An post posting times

Call came into the office today, need to get something sent to Galway from Dublin today. Needing it to be there, if I have it in post office by 430 and away in last post will it be in Galway in the morning if sent registered. Cheers for any help

Is normal registered post not next day?

registered post is not faster than unregistered post. Registered post adds security not speed.

why don't you go and ask an post. all the info is on their website. you try to help somebody out and you get attitude.

Registered Post is guaranteed to be secure but not necessarily next day

A lot of the time it will be next day but if it isn't you can't make a claim to An Post for lack of next day delivery
