I’m looking for recommendations for a laptop, budget is around €300-€500. It’s for a teenager for school projects and adults in their 50’s/60’s so it needs to be easy to use, nothing too fancy. Will mainly be used for general internet usage, youtube, Netflix and Microsoft office. Anyone with suggestions is greatly appreciated.

    thanks.

Op if you get this laptop may check what an upgrade from 4GB to 8GB of RAM will cost as will make a big difference. Still however with a SSD disk this is a great price.

ram is expensive at the moment. an 8gb ddr4 sodimm ram chip will cost about 90 euro new and that laptop (as most do these days outside gaming laptops due to space saving) has only 1 ram slot. So I'd wait until ram prices come down a bit as in this case you'd have to buy a 1x 8gb ram sodimm chip. you could maybe sell the 4gb sodim that's in there but you wouldn't get much for it. you could maybe get one secondhand for cheaper at cex or ebay

4gb is doable once you keep the number of browsing tabs in your browser down to less than 10 or use something like the free and great onetab extension.
