Does anyone know of or recommend a place anywhere in Ireland to see birds of prey? Would love to book something for someone who is interested.

Russborough is well worth the visit, they fly some of the birds and do a talk (not the birds ;) ), then you can see them in the aviary also,

if you are down the west, in Clare /Galway direction, Ballyvaughan Birds of Prey Centre is very good
Displays two or three times a day at this time of year, and they do hawk walks too where you can go out for a stroll with a falconer and a Harris Hawk flying loose.
    Good spot.
I do know some of the people involved, so I should declare on that.
But I think they do a good job there.
If you have someone with a particular interest, as with most falconry/wildlife people, its worthwhile letting them know, as they will try to accommodate that.

Eagles flying in Sligo(I think it’s sligo) is amazing. , think that’s what it’s called. Eagles , vultures , owls etc. for two hours the guy brings them out and let’s them fly over your heads and land on your arms. It really is amazing and one of the best experiences me and the family have ever gone to in Ireland.

They also have loads of other animals too. Well worth the admission.

    Edit - added website

    2nd this.

Was there a few weeks ago it is right beside Ballymote in Co. Sligo not Sligo as they have issues with Google maps sending people there as they did have a premises for advertising only.

They have over 400 animals and run by a German couple who are scientists.

They have a petting zoo it's a shed but the kids love it and adults also.

There are horses roaming free(ponies) you can feed them nuts you can get at entrance.

Kids get to hold animals and the goats are extremely friendly but be careful they will eat anything;-)
