Hey, I have my car since December I've brought it back to the dealer twice as there is a noise when the back wheels go over a ramp or uneven ground. The first time they said they couldn't hear anything so a few weeks later I brought it back, they took it for a couple of hours and said they can hear the noise but it's nothing? That it happens in some of there other makes/models. For a 2015 i find it strange that the noise is nothing. Sorry for the long post!!

That's a bit general, it could be anything. What make and model is your car?

Can you reproduce the noise on que? If so, ask the dealer can you drive with one of their mechanics to show them the noise.

Bring it to another garage and get them to diagnose it.

    Bushes ?
rock the car back and forward on the drive and see can you hear it.

It's a Volkswagen Polo, I have already drove the car twice with 2 different mechanics, the second lad heard the noise. But when they took the car to diagnose the problem they said it's nothing even though they can hear the noise

Do I tell Volkswagen that I've had someone else look at it? As it's under warranty with them till December.

Can the second lad pinpoint where the noise is coming from?

What have you in the boot/back of the car. Heard of a person complaining about a tapping noise in a car. Garage took it for a test drive and a medal/coin hanging off the mirror was making the noise. Garage removed it and happy customer till a few days later they came back with noise and item hanging from mirror.

No he said he could hear it but would have to wait till the car was took in to be checked. So after it was checked the manager said yes there's a noise but it's absolutely fine, that the Polo's are so small and compact and tight that's why I'm getting a noise.

Nothing just the spare wheel and tools, I've took them out and drove around hoping the noise would go, but no.
    Thanks though!

Has anyone had it up on ramps and looked to see if the end of one of the springs has sheared off?

If the noise is so slight that one independent mechanic can't hear it and another can barely and says it's nothing to worry about, well then it's probably nothing to worry about.
No point getting all worked up about a little rattle that most probably won't even notice.
