Concrete Steps

    Hi all,
I have very functional but ugly concrete steps from the house to the garden (2 steps) and want to make it look a little nicer. Is there anything I can do?

There’s a drain pipe in the middle of it so removing it mightn’t work.

I wonder if there is a way to chisel away 20mm and lay a cladding of some sort on the rise and a flag on the steps.

Appreciate advice and comments. Thank you

    Photo?

My initial thoughts are a nice non slip tile or paving slabs?

    Agree with the tile approach.

Also - google stone carpet (I think). Basically a stone chip in resin. Or other alternative would be to paint them with a concrete floor paint. May not be your taste, but could be quirky.

Apologies for rehashing old thread but spotted this set of pics and reminded myself of this post.

Would you simply use a cement to fix the slabs down? Would you have other suggestions. Thank you.
