Back to Education 2018/19 and part time work

    Hey guys, most threads on the topic seemed dead/old so I hope you don't mind me starting a new one!

    Does anybody have a clue about what happens when you get a part time job while on back to education?
    Everything online seems to make little sense to me and my local social wellfare office didn't seem to have a clue about it.

    I'm seeing loads of good part time jobs that would suit me while in college and I'm afraid of passing up on them (I need the extra money).

    So here's the questions;

    - can I get a part time job before september and remain eligible for the scheme? (I was on it last year, but didn't work).

    - is the means test a big thing? If I'm already on €193 at the moment and I get a job that pays €150, how much of the €150 do I get to keep?
