They are meant to fold in when I lock the car but they stopped during the week. When I press the little button to fold them in on the dash, that folds them. Something to do with a setting or the key fob? (Usually i lock the car by tapping the handle of the car with the keyless entry thing if that has anything to do with…

It's a Toyota Auris.

On some Toyota’s you can switch auto fold on/off by having the ignition off and door closed, hold the up part of the mirror adjustment pad and the mirror fold button for 2 seconds.
