I need to order a new chain for my hybrid - it was fitted with a KMC Z51 - https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/chains/kmc-z51-332-inch-7-8-speed-chain-116-links/

Would a KMC X8-99 - https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/chains/kmc-x899-332-inch-7-8-speed-chain-116-links-silver/ be suitable instead of the Z51?

The spec is slightly different insofar as the pin length in the X8 is 7.3mm whereas the z51 has a 7.1mm pin.

The cassette is Shimano TZ31 14 - 24, 7 speed.
The crankset is SR Suntour XCC 28/38/48.

Any help appreciated.

Yes, that chain will work perfectly.

Thanks for that confirmation - I think the X8-99 is a better chain.
