Wooden bay window

I moved into my house a couple of years ago. The front of the house has a large wood frame bay window, 2m tall x 2m wide x 50cm deep. It's double-glazed, approx 15 years old. The exterior wooden frame really needs to be sanded back and treated/varnished to restore it. I probably won't be able to do it myself so will need to hire someone to do it. Given the cost of this and and any additional maintenance in future years I'm just wondering if I would be better off replacing the window altogether with a new PVC frame window? Would anyone know the rough cost of either option? Any other opinions would be welcome too. Thanks.
