Grass from seed - August too late?

    I've the builders in at the moment & the project has over-ran

    What's the cut off for spreading grass seed?
    I could do some of the garden this weekend so it might grow a bit but there's another section of the garden I wouldn't be able to do for at least two weeks.
    Is that too late?

    September is a great time for seeding. I'll be doing the same.
