I set up a study room for my son when i was renovating our house. I bought this desk in IKEA its lasted over 2 years and has not a bother with it, its used on a daily basis either for writing or laptop.
You can collect cables and extension leads on the shelf under the table top, so they’re hidden but still close at hand.
