    Hi guys, I'm about to start a course in Data Analytics and they recommend to get a laptop of these specs, I've a desktop at home so I wouldn't be wholly reliant on the laptop. I'm just curious what people would recommend? Thanks!

    A suitable configuration is 6GB of RAM (8GB or more are recommended); a 64-bit x86 processor (Intel i5 or superior); 250+ GB of hard disk;

    What's your budget? Plenty of laptops will fit those specs.

    Budget is just whatever I can get away with really. I already have a chromebook and a desktop so this is specifically just for college, I don't really care about something like screen quality. Just want to pay whatever gets the job done.
