I am travelling to Toronto in the Autumn and am wondering what is my best option for using my Irish mobile to contact home when there. Any advice?

Hi, post moved to a new thread as the other one was over 10 years old.

How long will you be staying?
Do you have a rough amount of calls/SMS/data?

The best option is to use WiFi calling, as roaming charges are high in Canada. If you are prepared to wait until you are in a WiFi region to make and receive calls? However WiFi calling is only available from Eir at the moment. With WiFi calling, calls are charged as if you were at home.
