Got a combo box installed least week and the remote control loses connection with it every now and then. I need to do a full restart at source (unplug from wall) for the issue to go. It looks, for all the world, like the batteries have drained, but putting new ones in made no difference.

My husband has been looking into this and said the combo box didn't come with an lR blaster, could this be the issue?

Any idea what I can do to fix it?
    Thanks in advance

Return it for replacement if it is faulty, or at minimum report to seller and ask for solution.
If they cannot sort it out get a replacement.
