    Hi all
    Just some advice reqd,
I applied for a position through a recruitment agency, attended an interview that had me caught off as in it was a 3 panel interview but a very relaxed setting and although the interview went well the interviewers took very little notes.
My experience and qualifications all lined up.
So there is 2 positions in this company,
My field 2 applied and the other field was filled.
I spoke to the recruiter who told me this and told me my interview went well but they are still advertising for other parts of the country outside of dublin.
This is dragging on nearly 2 full weeks now.

    So here's my question

Should i bypass the recruiter and forward my questions directly to the relevant people through linkedin etc or sit tight.
I spoke to the recruitment consultant yesterday and he reckons this week for a final answer.

    Any advice all and TIA

Bypassing the recruiter is a bad idea. 1) The company is using a recruiter because they don't want to deal with things like this and 2) Your contact is the recruiter not the company.

Seems you already know what to do?

    Thanks for the reply
The waiting is a killing me and at the interview they told me they had 1 person left to speak to and to expect a decision this day last week.

I'm currently employed but have other offers waiting but this position is top on the list and just hoping the recruiter isnt stringing me along.

I understand. Wait the week and if there's no decision, I think you can tell the recruiter you have other offers and can't wait any longer.
