ACV for cat UTI

    My male cat suffers UTI every couple of months, In the last 2 years or so when he gets a flare up I add small amounts of ACV to his food which seems to get his pee flowing again without the need for vets/antobiotics. I've come home from work today seems he's straining a little again but my ACV expired July 2018 does anyone know if this is still safe to use as too late get new bottle now.

    Are you sure it's UTI? Not the likes of Struvite crystals?

    Yes he's been vet couple of times with it. When he gets a flare up they're always tiny little pee that he does hopping in & out of tray but usually after 1/2 doses with the ACV he does normal one & is back to normal.I also have him on a urinary food,diet plus I add water to every meal & have a fountain too.

    It's vinegar. It will essentially last indefinitely.
    It's fine.

    My cat used to suffer from terrible cystitis and after trying antibiotics, I got him cantharis in the health food shop. I gave it to him daily for a couple of months or so and he never suffered it again.
