Nore suir built the cable networks in Thurles, Clonmel, Tipperary and Cashel.

After acquisition it was renamed Chorus but the cable services it seems were only kept in Thurles and Clonmel.

Is the infrastructure still there i wonder

Lots of smaller towns with isolated, patchy (or both) networks have lost cable service entirely - Donegal and Buncrana are others. I believe Castlebar got a buildout that has never even been used to this day

Infrastructure would be effectively useless now but wayleaves - if documented and evidence exists - would be of use for reinstatement.

Plenty of places with small MMDS fed cable which became redundant 2 years ago, if they had any subscribers left at that stage.
