Just wondering if a timber shredder would be a good investment. I've loads of timber and bushes to be cleared plus I like working a chainsaw. Would I be mad, stupid or should I just do a few extra hours overtime? No offence taken.

Had one hired out after Ophelia.Thought twas slow with Ash branches . A great job for straight trimmed lengths but next time it will be a heap and a fire.

Sound. Was wondering about shredding dry stuff for stove. A pallet of coal could be as handy.

Takes a special burner to burn it right. Like everything you can get good ones but for a decent farmer friendly one your looking the guts of 8k

Have you considered a branch logger. You can bag and dry the stuff. Burns very well.
Have an urban tr70 like this myself

Thanks. Very dear for my job. Think I'll stay blocking and sawing. Need a better way of handling timber.
