Repair detached uPVC window handle

    Hi all,

I hope you might be able to help. I have uPVC windows from Munster Joinery in my house since 2015. The handle comes away from the metal spindle and I don’t know how to repair.

I can reattach the handle but any time I try to close the window, the handle comes off the spindle.

Can anyone advise on how to fix this so that the handle doesn’t come away from the metal spindle?

I’ve attached a photo of the window and handle just for information.

Any help you can give would be appreciated.

    Anto318

I'd imagine replacing the handle is your best bet. I assume the actual locking mechanism is still working? If so you simply remove the remains of the handle by unscrewing the two bolts holding it to the frame.
