Can somebody recommend a Saorview/Freesat box with recordable feature?? Will I need a saorview aerial also as I live I Arklow??

I see most if not all boxes have 7 day epg for Saorview bit now and next for Freesat. Is there a 7 day epg for both available?

Fairview connect box says record feature coming July 2018 is this available now?

You are confusing your terms ....
    Freesat
is a proprietary scheme for satellite boxes which provides a 7 day EPG.
It is similar to Sky except without the subscription. Freesat boxes have a preset list of channels.
It is never provided along with Saorview.

    Free to Air
refers to boxes without the proprietary EPGs and without some limitations which are placed on the use of the boxes.
You can get Combi FTA boxes which have both satellite and terrestrial tuners.
Quite a lot of those boxes have the capability to provide a 7 day EPG for both Saorview and Satellite channels.

You need an aerial to receive terrestrial broadcasts.
You need a satellite dish to receive satellite broadcasts.

Living in Arklow you may be able to get-freeview (UK channels) on an aerial, if so, you could record Saorview and Freeview on the one box.
