    Hi everyone,

I'm home on Friday for a month to Dublin before moving to New Zealand.

I'm looking for some work to give me something to do and to make some extra money for my travels. I've been out of Ireland for 2 years now as was in Australia so not sure what the job market is like now.

I worked with the 2 big banks in Australia but I'm happy to do any work.

Anyone any tips on finding work? I've already applied to all recruitment agencies bby sending in my CV.

    Thanks.

My neighbour recently found himself out of work. In a short space of time, a couple of weeks, he had two jobs. One was with a house cleaning & maintenance company. He even had a van with a logo on the side to park overnight at his house. After that he had another job, garden maintenance, I think. He was happy with both of those jobs, as they kept him going for the time being.

In Dublin it might be difficult but here in rural Ireland I know of at least three pubs that are looking for casual staff, mainly bar work but one looking for waiting staff also in Co Limerick, probably wouldn't suit you though if you would have to pay for some where to stay down here, worth checking with pubs/restaurants in the Dublin suburbs

Appolgies, but this isn't of any help to you and completely off topic, but do you think Australian banks are gonna fall over due to potential reckless lending?

Most small builders are crying out for decent grafters, gen/casual labour's that don't spend all day snap chatin or glued to their phone

Would I need a safe pass for that yes? I done a bit of laboring in Australia for my farm work and enjoyed it.
