Are there any pirate stations broadcasting on medium wave here in Ireland?

Radio North Donegal on 846. Radio Star Monaghan on 981. Energy Dublin 1395. An unnamed relay station in Sligo, usually on 1494 plus one or 2 occasional low power transmitters.

Is this in any way connected with former pirate Premier FM, which went on to have three temporary licenses in the '00s? I know that Premier started in the early '80s as Premier Radio and came and went a number of times over two decades. It must have been during 1989 that it surfaced as Premier International. Who is involved with the current configuration if indeed it is connected to the previous one of old?

as far as i know it's nothing to do with premier fm. premier radio international started in 1976.

It rings a few distant bells - think I saw it on a few anorak sites in relation to '70s pirates. So this is a shortwave pirate that is on the go over 40 years?? It rarely gets any mention. Who has been involved? Edit: Was Jimmy St. Ledger the original founder?
