Can't make calls or texts

Hey, I have a Meteor (now Eir) sim card that I use in my backup phone. I top it up every 5 months. Today I bought some credit but can't seem to make calls or send texts. I can receive both though. Can anybody help answer what is happening, please? Thank you!
