Virgin Media program into

Hi folks,

Just wondering if anyone else is noticing anything funny with the program information on their VM boxes. We have 2 and the horizon box will only show the current and next program (for anything after that it just says program information coming soon) while on the other Cisco box we have the program information after a few hours is totally out of sync (e.g. the 100 Virgin station had things like deadliest catch as upcoming programs).

We rang virgin and they said it should be fine (they suggested unplugging the box which made no difference) but that the 2 boxes are playing up does make me think there might be a wider problem so thought I'd ask.

Our various horizon boxes have always been very glitchy. Information is often wrong or the another channel, or not available. Mostly it's right. But as neither UPC or VM have shown the least interest in fixing the many bugs. I've given up trying.

The programme information comes from other sources and can be wrong. But that's not problem with the VM boxes. They are just buggy.

Thanks for the reply. I hadn't realised that they came from somewhere else. The horizon box has only taken to playing up recently though ... hmmm ... that doesn't mean anything, just me thinking out loud!
