We tried Imagine LTE (who work of the Three network)

Nope. Imagine have their own radios in an entirely different band to the MNOs.

Dont go buying stuff until you see what cells are serving you from where. There might be ok Voda/Eir reception at specific points on the ground but amazing Three coverage from the roof. Ladder, three sim cards, go.

We've done this, we went 200m up!! Absolutely nothing with three, decent with Eir but Vodafone by far the best by a country mile.

The antenna will function best while aimed so use http://siteviewer.comreg.ie to find your angle for that.

Personally I'd go with Huawei over TP, Cellular stuff from them has always been pretty "meh" while Huawei make the infrastructure. 250GB/mo is decent enough as long as you aren't a media heavy family.
