Even though it is an entry level drive, the price is very good for 240GB.

If you pay in US$ ($41) using Revolut or N26 card etc. It may work out cheaper. Flash sale ends on the 7th of August.

N.B. This is coming from China and over the VAT rate, so it may get stopped. If it does, you may be asked for a further €18 at the door (€8.30 VAT + €10 An Post handling).

This is the CrystalDiskMark bench for the 120GB version

Is there much point though when you get get a decent 240GB SSD new from Amazon for around €46? There's a chance this would get stopped for customs, which would make it more expensive than that....and you also effectively have no warranty either.

Using that store, I've not had anything stopped yet. For the more expensive items they usually offer 'tariff insurance'.
Saying that, I hadn't realised that they had dropped so much everywhere. I had seen a few cheaper ones pop up now and then, but around the €40+ mark looks to be standard price now (at least for many). Wow.:)

This doesn't seem like such a bargain now either, but just to point out, I have had them honour 2 warranties in the past, but I think the longest was around 5 months later. I've not had anything over a year before it broke.
