    12 pubs, 60 pints.

Name your 12 pubs situated within walking distance around your city where one could complete this task, basking in the metropolitan glory of a city that is your local.

Remember the last one has to be astronomical.

P.S no spoilers as I'm still watching this film

Probably start at The Pale, West Britain.

By the way, the last pub doubles as an Intergalactic Headquarters and our heroes end up talking them down and winning.

    Sorry. Can't. I don't live in a city.

I get it lads, Dublin has very little diversity when it comes to pubs and you feel belittled by my post. I've been there plenty of times. Same pub layout, same pub prices every pub you go. You can easily be left out. That's why I said city and not Dooblin.

Literally nobody pronounces it like that.

The last thing a man needs when he is drinking is to walking anywhere stool jacks and that's it

    What about Galway, Cork etc?

    Even a big town?

    Don't bother.

Hot Fuzz or Shaun of the Dead are much better.

FORD PREFECT: Six pints of bitter and quickly please. The world’s about to end.

BARMAN: Oh yes sir nice weather for it. Going to watch the match this afternoon?

    FORD PREFECT:
    No, no point.

BARMAN: Foregone conclusion you reckon sir. Arsenal without a chance?

FORD PREFECT: No it’s just that the world’s going to end.

BARMAN: Ah yes you said. Lucky escape for Arsenal if it did.

    FORD PREFECT:
    No, not really

BARMAN: There you are sir, six pints.

    FORD PREFECT: Keep the change.

    BARMAN:
What from a fiver? Thank you sir!

    FORD PREFECT:
You’ve got ten minutes left to spend it.

What makes Bruxelles so special to be the last? Asking genuinely, never heard of it.

Just fond memories; good music, not too young of a crowd, reasonably priced and I liked their pints.

It has to be something out of your comfort zone though. That's what makes it fun!

    What about the other 11?

My comfort zone for the last 10 years has been an early bed time, so being out late is outside my comfort zone.
But from a pub point of, any of the trendy axis of evil bars on Dawson Street would fit that.

It's been many years since I was there but the music attracted a lot of people. Metal/hard rock sort of stuff. Even though I was more into alternative/indie music, it was grand when I was in college (the first half of the 90s). I went to Trinity, so Bruxelles was handy...
